  • Swimming

    Sheldon College has year-round unrestricted access to its own 25m heated pool and year-round unrestricted access to the Cleveland 50m pool with open water swimming options in Cleveland and Victoria Point, all within 6km of our training base. The Program currently offers 5 coached sessions.

  • Cycling

    Athletes have 4 coached indoor and outdoor sessions available. Facilities include 30 wind trainers and 10 sets of rollers. The Bay area of Brisbane has quiet, well maintained roads with Criterium racing available every Saturday at Murarrie cycling centre (15km away), and monthly at Redlands Business Park (5km away). Chandler Velodrome is also available (12km away).

  • Running

    Queensland Athletics has a strong state track and cross country calendar with fortnightly events through winter and a full summer track program that caters for athletes up to a national level. QAS facilities are 18km away with access to a synthetic track which complements Sheldon College’s 400m grass track. Daisy Hill State Forest is the main trail running area in Brisbane which is less than 1.5km from Sheldon College. Athletes currently have 5 coached sessions available.

  • Strength and Conditioning

    The Sheldon College gymnasium is a fully equipped commercial-grade facility that contains 4 treadmills and a huge range of resistance training equipment. The program enjoys year round unrestricted access to all facilities on the Sheldon College campus. Athletes currently participate in two Strength & Conditioning sessions weekly.

  • Sports Science / Sports Medicine

    The Sheldon College Triathlon Development Program maintains a strong network of service providers to allow best practice to be implemented into our DTE.
